Pro Bono

Kent Sinclair is committed to assisting the community by providing a minimum of 50 hours of free legal services per year. The Firm works closely with the Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC) representing victims of sexual assault and rape in civil legal proceedings to shield the privacy of victims’ medical, psychological and educational records, as well as protecting clients by obtaining restraining orders against their attackers. In 2016 Kent received the VRLC Shining Star Award recognizing his exemplary dedication to pro bono representation of the VRLC’s clients.

Kent also serves as Chair of the Privacy Law Committee of the Boston Bar Association (BBA) and is a member of the Steering Committee of the BBA’s Solo & Small Firm Section. In these volunteer position, he organizes monthly Committee meetings on a variety of privacy law related subjects and assist with organizing other continuing legal education programs involving privacy and cybersecurity law.
